The benefits of exercise and physical activity during menopause and later life are well documented and plentiful. By achieving the suggested minimum of 150 hours aerobic exercise a week and 3 sessions of strength training including lifting weights we can reduce the risks of many diseases including heart disease , diabetes and mental illness .  For ladies after menopause a decline in oestrogen puts us at elevated risk of osteoporosis and reduction in bone and muscle mass . At Ab Fitness we can work together to maintain bone density, muscle mass and functionality for a longer and healthy life
